Notable Moments: Guests gathered in the heart of Tempe Marketplace and enjoyed FABRIC-themed cocktails provided by Dave & Busters as they eagerly waited for the show to begin. Models walked the runway in garments made of repurposed denim as the audience murmured in awe at the creativity and ingenuity of the designers. Each look was judged on quality, use of materials, creativity, overall look and fit on the model. The winner of the night was Zach Frisbie of Bye Frisbie, receiving the RunzWithScissors Award – whose namesake is late sustainable fashion designer Astrid Olafsen’s brand.
