Valley of the Sun United Way
United Way improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community. Our number-one focus is to nimbly and effectively respond to, and develop solutions for, our Valley’s most pressing needs.
75 Years
Grand Canyon University
Through academic excellence, the university equips students with knowledge of the Christian worldview, instilling in them a sense of purpose and vocational calling that enables them to be innovative thinkers, effective communicators, global contributors and transformative leaders who change their communities by placing the interests of others before their own.
50 Years
Arizona Recreation Center for the Handicapped (ARCH)
To enhance and maintain the quality of life of individuals with special needs by providing therapeutic recreation services, health and wellness programs, socialization opportunities and basic living skills, in our facilities and in the community.
Scottsdale Arts
To present traditional and contemporary arts of interest to worldwide audiences, to create opportunities for audiences to have thought-provoking experiences with artists and speakers, and to foster creative expression, diversity in thought, and awareness of cultural heritage.
Special Olympics Arizona
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
25 Years
5 Arts Circle
5 Arts Circle is a 501(c)(3) social group that supports five premier visual and performing arts organizations vital to the cultural and economic life of our community. The membership organization is an advocate for the arts in metro Phoenix.
Arizona Pet Project
The mission of Arizona Pet Project is to reduce the number of dogs and cats entering Arizona shelters by providing the resources needed to keep pets and their families together.
Arizona Private Education Scholarship Fund
The mission of APSEF is to graciously serve Arizona families by providing tuition assistance for their children’s private education while honoring the generosity of every donor.
ASU Lodestar Center
To build the capacity of the social sector by enhancing the effectiveness of those who lead, manage, and support nonprofit and philanthropic organizations.
BHHS Legacy Foundation
BHHS Legacy Foundation supports organizations that enhance health and quality of life in the Greater Phoenix area and the Tri-State region of northern Arizona. It does this by funding grants to nonprofits with health-related programs, nurturing collaborative partnerships, and raising funds through Legacy Connection to support community organizations. To date, BHHS Legacy Foundation has invested more than $150 million in nonprofits to support programs in our communities.

The mission of Gabriel’s Angels is nurturing youth and their well-being by connecting them with the healing power of pets and compassionate adults.
notMYkid
For more than 25 years, notMYkid has been providing youth, families, schools, and community partners with high impact prevention education and early intervention programs. Fast forward 23+ years and we can proudly share that our organization has successfully served over 3 million individuals and continues to reach over 100,000 youth and adults each year.
People Acting Now Discover Answers (PANDA)
People Acting Now Discover Answers (PANDA) was founded as a volunteer driven organization funding medical research to create healthier futures for kids. The mission of PANDA is to support discovery processes that lead to improved treatments and cures for devastating childhood diseases. The Board accomplishes its mission by raising awareness and private funding for the Steele Children’s Research Center at the University of Arizona.
Phoenix Police Foundation
The Phoenix Police Foundation is a nonprofit organization that addresses unmet capital needs of the City of Phoenix Police Department, provides financial assistance in crisis situations and recognizes those who protect our communities. Fund, Assist, Honor.
