The Cosanti Foundation is pleased to announce a very special partnership with The School of Architecture (TSOA) to present an exclusive Concrete Casting Workshop on Thursday, April 9.

This workshop takes place from 3 to 5 p.m. at Cosanti Originals in Paradise Valley. Participants will have the chance to work with The Cosanti Foundation staff as well as TSOA faculty and students to design a miniature decorative concrete casting, such as a small sculpture or paperweight.

The workshop begins with a brief history of silt casting at Cosanti and an explanation of how this method relates to current casting methods still used onsite today. Participants will then be guided through the process of designing a positive mold with foam and a negative mold with desert earth to create their concrete castings, which they can pick up within a week of production.

The cost for this workshop is $125 per person, plus taxes and fees; spots are extremely limited.
