Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West will celebrate the grand opening of its expansion with a FREE admission weekend on Saturday, March 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.! Reserve complimentary passes in advance for expedited entry or register at the door. Saturday’s Opening Celebration will feature family-friendly programming that brings the spirit of the American West to life, including live Western music, Old West reenactors, a replica stagecoach photo opportunity, tastings, food, hands-on activities, artist demonstrations, and docent-led express tours of four new galleries. In the outdoor Sculpture Garden, guests can enjoy live music and a special “Spirits of the West” whiskey tasting experience in collaboration with local vineyards and distilleries. Visitors can also participate in a Museum Passport activity for a chance to win a museum membership. Free admission continues Sunday, inviting guests to explore four new exhibitions highlighting the art, history, and culture of the American West.
