Things are heating up this March at Cosanti, where nostalgia, creativity, inspiration and community have sparked three exciting new events.

Cosanti Community Art Show
Monday, March 2 through Sunday, March 29

The Cosanti Community Art Show takes place in the North Apse Annex. Beautiful handmade ceramics, paintings, 3D art, photography, print works and jewelry will be on display and available for purchase. The pieces featured are handmade by Cosanti artisans and all proceeds from sales go directly to the artists through digital payment platforms or with cash, per the preference of the artist.

Show and Tell at Cosanti

Thursday, March 5 |4 to 5 p.m.

Held at the Pumpkin Apse at Cosanti, this event encourages visitors to share their stories with the Cosanti community through creative collections. Those who register will bring an item or small collection and will have a five-minute window in which to share their story with other participants. This unique and intimate show-and-tell event is designed to build the local community and foster creative connections. The event is limited to 15 participants and $10 tickets per person.

Shroud at Cosanti
Saturday, March 7 | Noon to 4 p.m.

This event serves as the opening reception for an exhibition by Talia Dudley. Completed during her artist residency at Arcosanti, “Shroud” explores the themes of architectural space, how humans move through places and how they interact with one another in their constructed environments. These works, done in charcoal and chalk, as well as several previously unseen works, will be on display in the historic Earth House and Barrel Vault spaces for the reception. This event is free, but space is limited to 50 guests and reservations are required. Light refreshments will be served. “Shroud” will remain on display through the last weekend in March.
