Lovitt & Touché Set to Exceed $600K in Donations This Year
Lovitt & Touché, a family-founded company and one of the nation’s largest independent insurance brokerages, donated over $600,000 to Arizona nonprofits last year, and is expecting to surpass that figure by the end of 2017.
“When we work with clients, our goal is to build relationships and arm them with the tools to protect their businesses and ultimately have greater peace of mind,” said CEO Charles A. Touché. “Our community giving philosophy is no different. We’ve been very fortunate and relish the opportunity to help support our community partners who work so tirelessly to lift up those who need it most.”
The company has prioritized giving back since 1911, and in 2014 even re-branded with the tagline “Business Minded. Community Focused.” to reflect the company’s dedication to community engagement.
Over the years, the company has increased the number of organizations served and is now supporting over 70 organizations, many of which focus on children and underserved communities.
Some of the organizations they support include Ability360, Boys & Girls Club of Metro Phoenix, A New Leaf Foundation, La Frontera Center, UMOM, YMCA, Chicanos Por La Causa and many more. Lovitt & Touché also sponsors Ability360’s 360Charity Golf Tournament, which raised more than $45,000 last year and promotes the independence, health and wellbeing of those with disabilities.
Lovitt & Touché also encourages its employees to get involved in giving back, through its employee-led C.A.R.E.S. committee, which selects a charity to support each month through an employee drive.
