New Board Chair & Members at Make-A-Wish Arizona
Make-A-Wish® Arizona, a leading nonprofit dedicated to granting the wishes of children with critical illnesses, is pleased to announce that Kyle Pottinger from the Phoenix Suns has been appointed its incoming board chair. Pottinger brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for positively impacting the lives of children and families.
The organization also welcomes three new Arizona leaders to its board of directors, totaling 35 individuals who are dedicating volunteer time and efforts toward granting wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Added to the board of directors are Rahul Chawla, MD, MA, a pediatric intensivist and pediatric emergency room physician at Banner Children’s at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center; Lorraine Murrietta, director of finance & HR at Loffa Interactive Group, and Dawnyel Smink, the CEO of Canyon Lands Insurance.
“Our board of directors is an active board, reaching out to corporations, organizations and even individuals as we work to reach more children in Arizona,” said Fran Mallace, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Arizona. “With 100 percent of our funds coming from direct donations, we are thrilled to see how these new board members can help us with our goal to reach more kids.”
