William Anthony Imparato

William Anthony "Bill" Imparato passed away on Aug. 26, 2011. He was born March 26, 1947, in Yeadon, Pa., to Philomena ("Mae") and William Imparato.

 

Bill will forever be remembered for his charm, sincere demeanor, sense of humor and infectious laugh. He grew up in Westfield, N. J., where he graduated from Roselle Catholic High School. He received his bachelor's degree from Xavier University and later earned his law and MBA degrees from the University of Notre Dame, beginning his lifetime devotion to his beloved Fighting Irish.

 

He began his long and prominent legal and real estate-development career in Phoenix at Streich Lang Weeks Cardon & French (1973-1980), and later joined Park West Development Co. (1980-2000). In addition, he served as president of Manchester Development Co. for several years, and was an original shareholder and member of the board of directors of Fidelity National Financial (1986-2006). He spent the last years of his career as a partner and head of the transactional real estate department at the law firm of Beus Gilbert.

 

Bill will be greatly missed by all those who have been blessed by knowing him. His list of friends and colleagues grew through his involvement with numerous organizations and events that helped his community and friends throughout his life, including the St. Francis Little League, where he served as the commissioner from 1981-1985 and the Challenge Foundation Academies of Arizona, where he served as an original member of the board of directors (2007-2011).He loved being with his family and friends, spending time on the golf course and enjoying good food. He will be missed, but always lovingly remembered
