Valley nonprofit Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children (ACFC), whose mission is to provide social, emotional, and financial support to families navigating pediatric cancer, is hosting a “Fill the Bus” school supply drive and collecting donations from the community.

The public is invited to help fill the bus with essential school supplies on Wednesday, May 6, from 4-6 p.m. at the ACFC facility (7010 E. Cochise Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85254). Donations include pencils, crayons, notebooks, backpacks, glue sticks, rulers, scissors, and more. The “Fill the Bus” vehicle will be on-site to make drop-offs easy and fun for all ages.

All donated items will be distributed directly to families, helping ensure students have what they need as they begin their next school session. Many of the children served attend school year-round and return to the classroom as early as July, making early donations especially impactful.

More than just a supply drive, “Fill the Bus” is an opportunity for the community to come together and support local families navigating childhood cancer. Every donation plays a meaningful role in reminding these students they are supported every step of the way.
