Spinato’s Pizzeria & Family Kitchen, a beloved Valley institution, is partnering with A New Leaf to treat 20 children from the La Mesita After-School Program to an unforgettable hands-on experience. Sponsored by generous donors Justine Thompson and Katie Garrett, the kids will step behind the counter to learn the art of pizza-making, guided by the Spinato’s team. The day will be filled with delicious fun, including a gelato bar, goodie bags, and inspiring conversations about careers in the restaurant industry. These children come from families who have faced significant hardships, including homelessness and poverty, making this joyful day of connection especially meaningful.
