The local nonprofit Executive Council 70 is hosting its 52nd annual The Original Taste, a formal food and wine event benefiting over 100 children’s charities on Saturday, April 12 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Scottsdale Civic Center. The occasion will host the Valley’s top restaurants, wine and cocktails for an elevated tasting experience with live entertainment.

The Original Taste will feature over 20 fan-favorite restaurants like Pyro, STK, Uchi, Cala, Kasai Japanese Steakhouse, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Velvet Taco and more that will give out samples for guests to indulge in. Live entertainment includes performances from Dee Jay Silver, country and electric dance music artist Ashley Walls and Nashville’s rising country star Josh Ross.

The event’s earnings will benefit charities throughout Arizona, including qualifying charities, qualifying foster care charities and 501(c)3 nonprofits.

General admission tickets are $175 per person. EC70 is also offering a VIP admission ticket priced at $275 that allows access to a VIP lounge with premium views of the stage and preferential bar access. VIP tickets will also grant access to The Original Taste’s Afterparty starting at 11 p.m. onsite.
