Televerde Foundation Swing for Second Chances Charity Golf Outing

November 14, 2025 @ 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
$250.00
  • « Swing Fore Second Chances
  • Raise the Stacks – A Cocktail Fundraiser for the Phoenix Public Library Foundation »

Every year, more than 80,000 women are released from prison in the United States–most without jobs, savings, or support. They carry the weight of their past while trying to navigate a society that often sees them only for their mistakes. The Televerde Foundation exists to change that, providing career training, reentry support, and a community of belonging so women can rebuild their lives with dignity, purpose, and power. To support this mission, the Foundation will host its third annual Charity Golf Classic, “Swing FORE Second Chances,” on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at Stonecreek Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona.

“In just three years, the Swing FORE Second Chances Charity Golf Classic has become a cornerstone of our movement to change the way society sees and supports justice-impacted women,” said Michelle Cirocco, executive director of the Televerde Foundation. It brings together leaders, changemakers, advocates—and even our graduates—who believe in second chances and are willing to take action. The impact goes far beyond the fairway, too. It’s about funding futures, restoring families, and helping women reclaim their place in the world.

The Televerde Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit driving real change where it’s needed most: behind prison walls. Through intensive career training, personal development, and reentry support, the Foundation prepares women to succeed long after release. The outcomes are measurable and undeniable, as outlined in the Televerde Foundation 2024 Impact Report. Highlights include:
94% employment rate post‑release for graduates.
Average starting salary: $36,800–$38,000.
<1% recidivism rate, demonstrating program effectiveness.
80% of Career PATHS graduates earned industry-recognized credentials.
15% secured promotions or higher-paying roles within 18 months.

The Televerde Foundation’s annual Swing FORE Second Chances Charity Golf Classic is an opportunity to build on this momentum. With expanded sponsorship opportunities, exciting player perks, raffle prizes, and powerful stories from program graduates, attendees will see the impact of second chances in action. Funds raised will support the continued growth of the Televerde Foundation programs in Arizona, Indiana, and Florida, ensuring more women have the resources and support to rebuild their lives.

“This is going to be an incredible day on the course,” added Cirocco. “Whether you’re a scratch golfer or just out for fun, you’ll leave inspired by the stories you hear and the impact you’re making. Every swing gets us closer to a future where second chances aren’t the exception—they’re the standard.”
