This talk offers a unique opportunity to explore the artists, themes, and techniques that shape the collection. Whether you’re an art lover or simply curious, you’ll gain new insights into Indigenous art.

About the Curator:
Olivia Barney (Diné/Navajo) is a member of the Curatorial department at the Heard Museum. She began her career at the museum as an Andrew W. Mellon Fellow and since then has transitioned into the role of Collections Coordinator. She is the curator for the Art & Sole exhibition at the Heard Museum and was a co-curator for The North Star Changes: Works by Brenda Mallory. Outside of her curatorial work, Ms. Barney is an artist, as well.
