40th Annual ‘Dinner on the Desert’ Celebrates Desert Botanical Garden Volunteers

The Desert Botanical Garden hosted its 40th annual fundraising event, “Dinner on the Desert,” on April 25th. The annual dinner helps support the garden’s conservation effort “to protect and celebrate the unique wonders of the desert.”
Chair: Hank Arens
Dollars Raised: $1M
Notable Moments: The evening was designed to honor the garden’s dedicated volunteers. Guests were welcomed with a gorgeous sunset view before being seated for an outdoor dinner with food inspired by Southwest cuisine. Throughout the night, attendees enjoyed live entertainment, a silent auction and the beautiful sights and exhibits of the garden. Garden President & CEO Chris Kline said, “What we witnessed tonight was more than a gala; it was a shared belief in the power of the desert to bring people together, spark wonder and create lasting impact. We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this incredible $1 million evening possible.”
