The Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation

The Valley is fortunate to be home to so many generous businesses, founda- tions, volunteers and philanthropists who support a variety of causes in our community. From the arts to health care to the environment, so many put their success and good fortune behind their passions, making the Valley – and the world – a better place for all of us.

Among the many significant gifts over the course of the last year were those given by the Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation. The Parsons make their tag- line, “We deal in hope,” a reality through the millions of dollars they donate– to humanitarian efforts in Haiti, to the Semper Fi Fund and to health and education for the underserved in Arizona.

For a child with a life-threatening medical condition, the Parsons believe a fulfilled wish can become “hope.” Their $2.8 million gift to Make-A-Wish Arizona enabled the organization to open The Parsons Wish House in Scotts- dale on April 29, 2015. Over the last two years, the Parsons have pledged more than $6.3 million to the organization, and Renee Parsons volunteers her time to the organization as a member of the board of directors and a co-chair for the annual Wish Ball.

“When a child is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, their entire family is sent into a tailspin – challenged in ways most of us can’t imagine,” Renee Parsons says. “The new Wish House will be a beacon of hope for these fami- lies, and every wish granted a chance to inspire strength and joy.”
