Thai Chili 2go Celebrates Thai New Year with Specials APRIL 12-15

April 12 - April 15
  • « Tucson Bite Nite 2026
  • Snow Week at Arizona Science Center »

Songkran, the Thai New Year, is one of the most culturally significant holidays in Thailand. The holiday is centered around renewal, reflection and community. Songkran is traditionally celebrated over multiple days, moving from cleansing and letting go, to giving, renewal and celebration. Significant to the holiday is water, a central symbol of Songkran celebrations that represents washing away the old and starting fresh.

Thai Chili 2go (TC2GO) is celebrating the Thai New Year by bringing these traditional significances to life through water (renewal) and giving (community impact) all week long.

TC2GO lovers can participate in the following ways:

On Sunday, April 12, the Thai New Year Cool Down, and Monday, April 13, Maha Songkran, which symbolizes the day of letting go, TC2GO presents its “Splash into the Thai New Year” event, with a Rewards Store Sale, where points go twice as far encouraging guests to “let go” of their points, free delivery to “remove friction,” a chance for guests to win a trip to Sedona, and the launch of TC2GO’s Pay-It-Forward program, channeling the giving theme.

The Pay-It-Forward program benefits St. Vincent de Paul via meal donations. Donations will be collected throughout the Songkran celebrations.

Tuesday, April 14 is Wan Nao, the transition day. The Pay-It-Forward program continues as guests are encouraged to reflect and give in the spirit of the holiday.

Wednesday, April 15 is Wan Thaloeng Sok, the official first day of the Thai New Year. This day of renewal and celebration is honored at TC2GO with $3 Thai Tea all day long, further focusing on the water theme of refreshment and renewal, and 15% off family-style meals, emphasizing the importance of family gathering during this time.

In addition, on this day, the final tally of Pay-It-Forward meals donated to support St. Vincent de Paul will be announced, as well as the winner of the Sedona getaway giveaway!

To wrap up the celebration, TC2GO will deliver the Pay-It-Forward meals to St. Vincent de Paul.
