Prost! Four Peaks Brewing Oktoberfest is back for its 53rd year at Tempe Town Lake! The three-day outdoor Bavarian themed festival kicks off Friday, October 9 through Sunday, October 11, 2026. Open to all ages, the beloved Arizona tradition features authentic German food, ice-cold beer, carnival rides, games, dancing, entertainment and more.

This year’s live music lineup will be headlined by Dirty Yachtin’ Scoundrels on Friday, Wyves on Saturday and Whiskey’s Quicker on Sunday, with additional performances throughout the weekend.

Returning fan favorites include the Wiener Dog Races, brat-eating contest, the Four Peaks Brewing Stein Holding Competition, and the Frank Kush Foundation’s Runnin’ for the Brats on Saturday, October 10. The festive run around Tempe Town Lake offers a 10K, 5K, and 1-mile option, and Oktoberfest costumes encouraged. All runners receive free Saturday admission. The annual fundraiser benefits Tempe Sister Cities, an internationally recognized non-profit founded in 1970.Proceeds from Oktoberfest help send Tempe high school students to nine of the 11 cities in the Tempe Sister Cities program. Four Peaks Brewing returns as the event’s title sponsor, joined by key sponsor State Farm Insurance and new partner Paulaner Sunset, the popular German soft drink known as “Spezi” that offers festivalgoers an authentic taste of Germany.
