At Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels we believe that every child deserves to feel like a kid, especially during cancer treatment. That’s what Amanda believed. Lorraine Tallman lost her precious daughter Amanda after a brave three-year battle with leukemia and nine-month fight with a brain tumor, she experienced the overwhelming maze of medical treatments, endless appointments, and sterile hospital rooms that strip away childhood joy. One mother’s determination to honor her daughter’s memory transformed into Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels in 2012 – an organization dedicated to bringing dignity and hope to children fighting cancer in Arizona. This year, 15,000 children in the Unites States will hear the words “you have cancer.” Each diagnosis throws a family’s world into chaos. That’s where we come in. Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels provides an outlet for kids to have their childhood back. Through our Comfycozy’s for Chemo apparel program, children receive specially designed clothes that make treatment easier while helping them feel like themselves. We provide counseling that helps entire families cope. When bills pile up, we help families keep their lights on and food on the table. And through family events like spa days and teen gatherings, we create moments of joy in the middle of life’s toughest battles. Ticket, sponsorship and underwriting opportunities start at $500 and go up to $100,000. For questions about sponsorship information please email [email protected]
