The Women’s Collective Awards Grants to Three Valley Organizations

The Women’s Collective has awarded grants to three Valley organizations working to expand opportunities for women through leadership development, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship.

The 2026 grant partners – Young & Empowered, Live & Learn and Mujeres Latinas – were selected for programs that directly support The Women’s Collective’s mission to accelerate women’s leadership, economic mobility and community impact. With this year’s grants, The Women’s Collective has now awarded more than $100,000 to organizations supporting women throughout the Valley.

“We are proud to invest in organizations that are creating meaningful, lasting opportunities for women throughout our community,” said Jillian Ladegard, President of The Women’s Collective. “These organizations are helping women build confidence, strengthen their skills, grow their businesses and create greater economic stability. This is exactly the kind of impact The Women’s Collective was created to support.”

Young & Empowered will use its grant to deliver two immersive career development workshops focused on practical tools for professional advancement. Participants will explore salary negotiation, navigating career transitions and building leadership confidence, with the goal of helping women take their next professional steps with greater confidence and preparation.

Live & Learn will launch Community: Roots & Rising, an eight-week workforce readiness program that will provide curriculum, facilitators, networking opportunities and participant support. The program is designed to give women the skills and connections they need to pursue long-term financial independence and stability.

Mujeres Latinas will use its grant to expand digital and artificial intelligence literacy among women entrepreneurs. Through an eight-week hybrid program featuring training, mentorship, technology tools and bilingual outreach, participants will learn how to modernize their businesses and pursue new economic opportunities.

Together, the three grant partners represent The Women’s Collective’s continued focus on investing in women and supporting programs that can create meaningful change throughout the community. Since its founding, the all-volunteer nonprofit has supported organizations and initiatives focused on strengthening opportunities for women across the Valley.

“We believe that when women have access to the right resources, connections and opportunities, they can transform not only their own lives but also their families, businesses and communities,” said Ladegard. “These grants are an investment in that potential, and we are excited to see what these organizations accomplish in the year ahead.”
