Elegant ‘Vino con Stelle’ Garden Party Blooms for Gateway for Cancer Research
Gateway for Cancer Research hosted their annual and intimate Vino con Stelle event filled with culinary delights and wine pairings on Oct. 24 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort.

Notable Moments: The event was held under the stars on a beautiful fall evening on the west lawn of the Arizona Biltmore Resort. Table settings were highlighted with large floral centerpieces in shades of pink with custom patterned table linens. Food was curated with ingredients known to assist in the fight against cancer. It was complemented with specific wine pairings for each course. Richard Stephenson provided a compassionate viewpoint regarding the importance of early-stage clinical trials and testing as a pathway for prevention and treatment. The honoree was NBA Hall of Fame legend Spencer Haywood, who contracted colon cancer in 2013 and shared his prostate cancer story as part of his platform to promote cancer awareness and early testing.
