Family Promise – Saving Homeless Families
“We shelter in congregations. In churches and synagogues and I’m hoping someday in mosques as well.” Ted Taylor, the CEO of Family Promise, sits down with Carey Pena to talk about how they are saving homeless families with the help of congregations. Most of the hundreds of families they help are single moms with two to three children. More than 250 families remain on the waiting list in need of help, so Family Promise is trying to expand services.
