Jolene Voorhees

Jolene Voorhees passed away peacefully with family at her side, at age 58, on Dec. 15, 2011. Jolene was a beloved wife, daughter, sister and trusted friend.

She grew up in Storm Lake, Iowa, and graduated from Storm Lake High School in 1972 and then attended Iowa State University and graduated with Bachelors in Education in 1976. Jolene taught history at Sheldon High School in Iowa as her first job out of college and then was off to the wild blue skies as a flight attendant for North Central Airlines (later Northwest Airlines) and traveled the world.

In 1983, she married Gary Voorhees and started her life in the Scottsdale, Ariz. Jolene was the co-founder of Arizona Taste Catering, in Scottsdale. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
