Neiman Marcus Presents Chanel on the Runway

Neiman Marcus Scottsdale debuted the Chanel Spring/Summer 2012 Collection at Phoenix Art Museum on Feb. 21.

The presentation mimicked the Paris runway show with its magical underwater world. For the show, the Great Hall was transformed into a white sea of shapes – coral, shells and more, with walls draped in white and white benches for seating, creating an almost icy feel.

An invitation-only list of 125 fashion devotees applauded the collection, which comprised mainly whites and pastels. Following the runway show, guests enjoyed a luncheon in the Dorrance Sculpture Garden.

Tim Braun, general manager of Neiman Marcus, welcomed guests to the luncheon and presented a dress from the show to the museum’s Fashion Design Collection.

The Chanel Spring/Summer 2012 Collection will be available at Neiman Marcus Scottsdale on Feb. 22 and 23.
