Clark Gable’s ’55 Coupe on Block at Barrett-Jackson

The Barrett-Jackson Auction Co. has announced it will sell Clark Gable’s 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Coupe at its Scottsdale auction in January. The vintage car, one of 1,400 that Mercedes built from 1954-57, will be part of the auction’s Salon Collection, which includes the rarest and most expensive automobiles.
