Notable Moments: The Phoenix Symphony hosted its first ‘Savor the Symphony’ post-COVID as they honored the incredible 10-year career of Virginia G. Piper Music Director Tito Muñoz. The luncheon was nothing short of celebratory, as May 7 was officially proclaimed “Tito Muñoz Day” by Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego at the event. The celebration of greatness did not stop there, as Paul Penzone took to the stage, honoring the late Phoenix Symphony advocate Sue Glawe for her dedication to the arts. No good celebration would be complete without an incredible meal, which is exactly what Chef Christopher Gross provided guests. From the stunning behind-the-scenes rehearsal to the celebration of Tito Muñoz and the delectable bites from Christopher Gross, The Phoenix Symphony team truly curated a unique and not-to-miss experience.
