Holiday Champagne Brunch and Auction
Lost Our Home Pet Rescue hosted its sixth annual Holiday Champagne Brunch and Auction at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia on Dec. 11. The 400 guests walked the red carpet, while being greeted by adoptable dogs and kittens, to photo opportunities with two beautiful dogs.
The Champagne brunch included a Tito’s handmade vodka bar, 151 silent auction holiday gifts, inspirational stories of pets and pet parents whose lives have forever been changed, and an energetic auction with “auctiontainer” Letitia Frye. The North Valley Chorale performed throughout the event, which was emceed by television personality and pet lover Jan D’Atri.
Lost Our Home Pet Rescue presented PetSmart Charities with the inaugural Pet Champion Excellence Award, which was accepted by PetSmart Charities President David Haworth, DVM, PhD.
Anne Marie Geary and Gina Page co-chaired the event, which raised $150,000 to support the organization’s mission to provide compassionate services to pets and pet parents in crisis, such as foreclosure, eviction, homelessness, job loss, illness and domestic violence. Arizona’s Vision was the presenting sponsor.
