Children’s Museum of Phoenix Gala goes to Candy Land

The Children’s Museum of Phoenix hosted its annual gala on Nov. 4, 2023, on a beautiful night at the museum in downtown Phoenix.

The Best Things in Life Are Sweet Sponsor: The Carol Critchfield Foundation

Event Co-Chairs: Sarah & Anthony Taylor

Honorary Grandparents: Becky & Dan Lieberman

Kids at Heart Award Recipient: Talking Stick Resort

Dollars Raised: $345,000

Auctioneer: Subyn Novelle

Entertainment: Lucky Devils | Storybook Entertainment

Balloon Artist: Dr. Erin Amini, Palette Perfusion

Notable Moments: Guests were greeted at the gala by nostalgic Candy Land, colorful and whimsical decor splashed with bright colors and candy details everywhere. Inside the museum was the perfect backdrop for a magical cocktail hour, with guests browsing the many silent auction items, which included a 9-foot-tall stuffed bear, a silver Suns All-Team signed basketball and more. Auctioneer Subyn Novelle conducted an exciting live auction, which raised funds for the Children’s Museum of Phoenix’s Every Child program, which gives 75,000 free or reduced museum admission to underserved children and their grown-ups.
