Pro Tip of the Month: Success Is Shared

This month’s tip comes courtesy of Ann Siner, the CEO and founder of My Sister’s Closet, My Sister’s Attic and Well Suited.

“I’ve always believed that when success is shared, good things happen for everyone. The return for me has been immeasurable. Rarely a day goes by that a customer doesn’t go out of their way to share that they shop with us because of our commitment to helping both animals and women. From the first month we opened My Sister’s Closet in 1991, we donated our unsold goods to the thrift stores of charities throughout the Valley.

I remember pulling a cowering kitten from underneath a parked car in downtown Colorado Springs when I was 16. Years later, I pulled them out of cages piled high with kittens at our Maricopa County pound. It’s a blessing and often a heartbreaking experience to feel so strongly about saving animals, but I’ve accepted that it’s my life passion and mission.”

In addition to supporting animal-related charities, Siner actively supports Fresh Start Women’s Foundation and its efforts to empower and lift up women. For more behind this Frontdoor, visit freshstartwomen.org
