Thunderbird Names Interim Leader

Barbara Barrett will take over as interim president of the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale at the end of April until a permanent leader is chosen, Thunderbird officials said this week.

Barrett will be the first woman in the top leadership post in the graduate business school’s 66-year history. She will replace President Angel Cabrera, who said last month that he would step down after nearly eight years to become president of George Mason University in Virginia.
