Science, Math in Schools Get Lift from Grant

A three-year, $1.6 million grant funded by the Helios Education Foundation and administered by public-private partnership Science Foundation Arizona is expected to boost Arizona schools’ science and math programs.

 

Schools that submit a successful grant application will receive as much as $500,000 over the three years, according to Barbara Ryan, Helios’ chief operating officer.
