Saks Fifth Ave. Spreads Local Giving Nationwide
This month Saks Fifth Avenue will give 5 percent of all purchases made with a Saks credit card back to charity. The donations will benefit certain local organizations, keeping support within each individual store’s immediate community.
“Saks Fifth Avenue is committed to our local communities. We appreciate our customers’ charitable involvement and look forward to giving back locally with this exciting and newly implemented national program,” Steve Sadove, chair and CEO, Saks Incorporated, said.
Customers may select which local charity from the store’s roster to which they wish to allocate their 5 percent contribution. Registration involves just one step at point of sale, linking the customer account with his or her chosen charity.
Saks Fifth Avenue Phoenix has partnered with the following charities through Feb. 29, 2012:

Valle del Sol’s culturally diverse, bilingual staff provides a wide range of programs and services for the entire family. The organization’s mission is to inspire positive change by investing in human services to strengthen families with tools and skills for self-sufficiency and by building the next generation of Latino and diverse leaders.”
