New Wright CEO Proven Fundraiser

Until Frank Lloyd Wright’s death in 1959, his foundation was run by what a former apprentice called a “benevolent monarchy.”

 

The foundation board looked “up” to Wright for direction. Then for decades – with seismic periods both professionally volatile and financially shaky – the foundation board looked inward to the fellows, or Wright apprentices, that made up the foundation board.
