Hope, Concerns for AZ’s Nonprofits
On Feb. 21, the “Arizona Republic” published “Report: Arizona’s Non-Profits Recovering.” The basis of the story was a recent report from the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits. According to the actual report, the outlook might not be as rosy as the “Republic” article indicated.
The report states that its annual survey found that “nonprofits have been tapping reserves, running deficits and stressing their workforces in an effort to meet growing demand for services. “
