Event Planner Steve LeVine Finds Success in Partying

When Steve LeVine was 15, he threw his first house party. Eager high-school kids waited in line on his long driveway, paying $5 each to drink beer in his backyard and dance to Run-D.M.C. and the Beastie Boys.

Now, at 37, the Scottsdale party planner and promoter typically charges $20 to $50 to get into one of his parties. The doors are guarded by bouncers armed with guests lists, and the bashes feature $200 bottles of champagne, with top international DJs on the turntables.
