Charles O’Malley

Charles “Chuck” O’Malley passed away Feb. 17, 2012, at the Ryan House Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, Ariz., after a long and heroic battle against cancer.

He was born in Chicago on July 14, 1945, and attended Regis College in Denver, where he lettered in baseball and golf. He was a longtime resident of Chicago before moving his family to Scottsdale, Ariz., in 1984.

He started his career in commercial real estate in Chicago and started his own brokerage firm in Phoenix when he moved. He was an avid golfer, a member of North Shore Country Club in Chicago and a member at Mirabel and Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, where he taught his sons how to play golf.

He was a loving father to his two sons and a beloved friend to many.
