Good Times

What does it mean to be a philanthropist? Is it someone who donates large sums of money? Dr. Ashcraft of ASU Lodestar Center challenges us to think about the meaning of this word a little differently, because we can all give of ourselves without the exchange of dollars. (Read the February issue featuring Dr. Ashcraft).
The question then becomes: Are we generous and are we maximizing our own human potential for the common good?
Giving is fun. Just ask the Jump Ball (formerly Courtside Classic) for the Phoenix Suns. They knew they were onto something the tuxedo men and ball gown bedecked dates ditched the fancy shoes for a pair of high tops! All in the name of charity.
Now that’s a good time.
