4th Annual Night of Hope Gala
The 274 guests at the fourth annual Night of Hope Gala spent an evening celebrating the bravery and innocence of childhood cancer warriors Oct. 1. The gala at the Paradise Valley home of Char and Bill Hubble included cocktails, dinner by the pool, live and silent auctions, live music and dancing, generating $245,000 to support Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels’ new palliative care counseling program, its Meals of Hope program, Comfycozys Care Packs and gift cards for the children and their families.
Elvis Before Noon and child prodigies Nash Jobe, Peyton Connell, Marina Tiffany and Claire and Annie Richins provided the evening’s entertainment. Special guests included Paul Horton from CBS 5 as emcee; Stephen Dwyer, a teen survivor who shared his story; and Katelyn Kieleszewski, a child life specialist from Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Most guests wore white, reflecting the theme Whiteout Under the Stars.
Cheryl Londen and Janice Chapman co-chaired the evening that included dinner by M Catering. Josh Levine served as auctioneer, and Char Hubble provided the décor.
