Join Valley of the Sun United Way for annual ‘Day of Action’ on October 28

Valley of the Sun United Way, a leading nonprofit organization serving Maricopa County, is hosting its annual Day of Action on Saturday, Oct. 28. Kick-off celebrations begin at 7:30 a.m. and service projects will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. There are 15 different projects to support nonprofits and schools in various locations across Maricopa County including Buckeye, Mesa, Glendale, Apache Junction, Phoenix and Scottsdale. Event projects range from local school beautification projects, tending community gardens, packing food boxes, assembling education and health kits, sorting at clothing banks and more.
