Dine out in Phoenix during Dining Out for Life 2013 hosted by Subaru, presented by azcentral.com to benefit Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS.
Nearly 100 different restaurants and more than 20 sponsors will participate in the Valley in this one-day international event. Each will donate a portion of the day’s proceeds to support programs and services at Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS in Phoenix.
With the help of Dining Out for Life and other fundraising initiatives, Southwest Center is the only organization in the Southwestern U.S. to combine prevention and education programs, health and wellness services, as well as research and clinical trials in a single location.
Southwest Center reaches more than 30,000 at-risk individuals each year. As the Valley continues to grow, the cases of HIV/AIDS have continued to grow as well; 14,700+ Arizonans are living with HIV/AIDS an additional 4,000 are unaware they are infected.
