Zoo’s Prowl and Play Under Way

As the sun goes down, the zoo heats up with activities during prowl and Play, a monthly summer promotion starting Saturday. Visitors can come to the zoo on the cheap ($8 rather than $18), pack a picnic dinner and roam the grounds.

“It seems to bring large groups of people together, from couples to families,” said Linda Hardwick, zoo spokeswoman.
