Seftel’s First Bite: Federal Pizza

Craig DeMarco and his Upward Projects gang have pretty much overrun north-central Phoenix. But residents in the ’hood aren’t exactly cowering in terror. In fact, they’re welcoming the territorial takeover. The more of this gang’s activity, it seems, the better.

The DeMarco restaurant family already operates three very successful, tightly focused concepts clustered on Central Avenue north of Camelback Road: Postino Central, a wine bar; Windsor, a casual lunch and dinner spot; and Churn, an ice-cream shop. Now it’s just added a fourth, a pizza parlor called Federal Pizza.
