It’s Snow Much Fun!

Take your kids and be a kid yourself at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix on Sat., Dec. 15. Visitors to the Children’s Museum of Phoenix will be able to frolic and play in 20 tons of snow that will be deposited on a portion of the museum's front lawn.

The event celebrates the holiday season and ties in with the Winterfest theme for the month. Santa himself will be on hand to visit for photo opps and story time with the children.

The full-day agenda starts with snow fun at 9 a.m., lasting ’til the snow melts. A bunny slope will be available for the youngest visitors.

A “Meet and Greet” with Santa on the front lawn will start at 10 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m.

Enjoy the harmonious voices of the Shadow Mountain High School High Heels & Blenders Choirs as they sing holiday favorites, 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the atrium.

Story time with Santa starts at 1 p.m. in the Book Loft, followed by a second “Meet and Greet” from 1:20 to 2:30 p.m.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., children can make pretty snowflakes in the Art Studio.
