Concerts at Desert Botanical Garden

The Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix is adding some new twists to its latest batch of concerts spotlighting an array of Arizona-based acts.

“For our winter Music in the Garden series, we have moved things to Sundays (from Friday nights),” said Sara Zeck, special-events coordinator for the garden, which has staged seasonal concerts for several years.

“The concerts run from noon till 2 p.m., so it’s right in the warmest part of the day. It’s a good time to take advantage of the nice weather.

Above: Dennis Rowland, a Valley favorite, will appear Feb. 12.
