‘˜Beyond Geronimo’ at Heard Museum
As one of the most photographed and talked-about Native Americans in history, Geronimo has been featured in numerous books and Hollywood Westerns. The famous Chiricahua Apache warrior’s name was used as a World War II-era parachutists’ cry and, more recently, was given to the military operation to hunt down al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden.
