Under the sponsoring Thunderbirds, the tournament has thrived despite circumstances that have become increasingly demanding. And it’s fair to wonder just how big the PGA Tour’s annual attendance leader could become with a more-favorable position on the Tour’s annual schedule.
The Waste Management Phoenix open isn't the PGA Tour's attendance leader because of the golf alone. The week has become a golf festival of sorts, with fun events planned for the entire seven days.
