Spa Escape in Arizona’s Desert Oasis

A transformation at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa is complete, revealing Spa House. The private mountain home enclave offers groups of up to 16 guests a unique spa escape.

Ideal for retreats, special occasion getaways and corporate gatherings, Spa House emphasizes the whole mind and body focus of the resort’s award-winning Sanctuary Spa. The 3,500-square-foot home features a treatment room for massages (spacious enough for couples) and a movement studio for private classes and personal training with yoga mats, Pilates reformers, indoor cycling, free weights, and other equipment. These complement an open-flow home design with a full kitchen and dining bar, dining room and living room that opens to a spacious wrap-around patio, an outdoor pool and expansive lawn.

The home’s four bedrooms can host up to eight travelers, and it is neighbored by four newly constructed Terrace Suites that accommodate up to an additional eight guests. The 900-square-foot suites include private outdoor showers, private patios with daybed, dining table and gas fireplace, framed by 12-foot-high glass walls that let the Camelback Mountain views sweep in.

A Spa Concierge is available to provide counsel and organize therapies both in-home and at the Sanctuary Spa. And a dedicated Sensei in residence ensures one of Sanctuary Spa’s most elite healers is on-call to perform a selection of specialized treatments that are performed exclusively by Sensei therapists.

Bringing wellness to the digital age, an in-home kiosk offers Skin Authority virtual coaching. The complimentary educational chats with certified skin coaches help guests customize a skin health plan and navigate products. In-room, there is a special menu of only-for-Spa-House experiences and deliveries, from a bedtime aromatherapy massage for hands and feet to a meditative coloring book with pens, as examples. By the bath, an assortment of aromatherapy bath salts invite guests to a restorative soak.
