Gizmodo.com has named the Health Sciences Education Building at University of Arizona in Phoenix one of the world’s most beautiful science labs. The report was published March 25.
In all, 22 facilities around the world were singled out for their architectural beautiful. The buildings span the globe from India’s third Antarctic research facility, the Bharati Antarctic research station, to ALBA, a synchrotron radiation laboratory in Cerdanyola del Vallès, Catalonia, Spain. Twelve of the labs are located in the U.S. and 10 are elsewhere in the world.
The UA Health Sciences Education Building in downtown Phoenix was recognized for its reflection of the canyon formations found throughout Arizona.
