Fantasy Tree Designs
If January has arrived all too soon and you have Christmas-tree-removal anxiety, tuck these design ideas away from next year.
These 12 evergreen fantasies were created by Valley designers Robert Busse, Karen Strong, Kevin LaPratt, Annie McKay, Ashlie Adams and Barbara Burner for the 2012 Festival of the Trees to support the Arizona Burn Foundation. In addition to the designers, Forever Living Products designed and decorated a 12-foot three. This year’s theme was The Golden Tree.
The main fundraiser for the organization, this 14th annual dinner netted $340,000 to support programs for burn survivors and their families, including the Arizona Children’s Burn Camp, “Camp Courage,” and the Forever Courage House family home. The 535 guests at the Camelback Inn enjoyed silent and live auctions, plus a raffle.
J.R. Martinez, Iraq War veteran, actor, motivational speaker, Dancing with the Stars champion and burn survivor was the evening’s special guest.
