Party of Note: A Frank Lloyd Wright Experience

Almost 150 guests attended the April 12 Phoenix Symphony Party of Note at the Taliesin West home of composer and architect David E. Dodge. His Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired home features a multi-story design filled with Asian artifacts and sculptures.

Phoenix Symphony musicians performed Dodge’s Symphony No. 6, with the chamber ensemble led by Matthew Kasper, Phoenix Symphony assistant conductor. In addition to the music and spectacular desert views, guests enjoyed an East Asian-inspired dinner created by the Thai chef Vichai Karmakhan.

Parties of Note is in its sixth season, offering one-of-a-kind programs in an intimate setting with symphony musicians and friends, while enjoying a gourmet meal in some of the Valley’s finest homes.
