Party of Note: A Biltmore Beauty
The Phoenix Symphony continued its Parties of Note season with an intimate gathering of 50 guests at the elegant home of Sheila Schwartz on Jan. 7. Located on the beautiful Biltmore Estates golf course, the soft neutral furnishings in her spacious home were highlighted against the vivid green fairway.
The house was designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, and the vast windows were a stunning backdrop to a beautiful recital featuring Steven Moeckel, Phoenix Symphony Concertmaster, and Elisabeth Pridonoff, pianist. Virginia G. Piper Music Director Tito Muñoz mingled with guests while they enjoyed cocktails and casual dining after the recital.
